Our Birth

O’Dell Group, llc was founded by industry veteran, Dan O’Dell, in September of 2012. The idea was to build an independent rep group with a package of manufactures with products offering compelling narratives for todays commercial furniture needs. Over time, the line package has been built creating a truly multi-line company.

Primary Skills

In addition to product lines, O’Dell Group focused on speed and professionalism in it’s support response. The idea is to react to an inquiry as if you are already late. As manufactures begin to see the value of our market service, we were asked by some to take on Alabama and Mississippi. Today we cover Tennessee for all of our companies and Alabama and Mississippi for some.

Continued Growth

Growing business required the LLC incorporation in 2015.

Also, in 2015, we were able to add Tony Mast to the group. Tony brings decades of experience and relationships that strengthen the firm’s efforts.

O’Dell Group is built for the long term an will coverall major commercial furniture markets. Whether office needs, healthcare, education or government, O’Dell Group will offer outstanding solutions with an understanding of value and service all with a sense of urgency.

Dan O'dell


Dan O’Dell started in the commercial furniture industry as a dealer sales person. Selling manufactures such as Herman Miller and Knoll, he learned the basics of the industry. Time came when he wanted to start his own business, so he set up a rep firm in Seattle helping to support dealers and design professionals find solutions to the needs of their clients. These clients included Boeing, Microsoft, Nike and other corporations and government units.

In 1994, he moved to Tennessee to become the National Sales Manager for Garcy/SLP, a manufacture of furniture integrated lighting products. He set up and managed an independent rep force along with maintaining OEM accounts. When Garcy/SLP was sold to Light Corp, he moved on to the position of National Sales Manager for Hale Manufacturing Company. Leading them from being a manufacture of wood bookcases to a leading source for wood library furniture.

Finally, in 2012, he founded the O’Dell Group, a rep firm based in Tennessee. As time moved on he was asked to take on more territory and currently covers Alabama and Mississippi, along with Tennessee, for some of his manufactures. The firm was converted to a limited liability corporation in 2015.

Living in Hendersonville, Tennessee since 1994, he enjoys golf, biking and grandchildren in his spare time.

Tony Mast

Account Manager

Tony Mast joined the O’Dell Group in March of 2015 and brings over 20 years of work experience in the contract furnishings industry. His experience includes working for a furniture manufacturer the First Source Furniture Group (then owned by Haworth) as the Southeast Regional Manager and working as a Manufactures Representative in the Tennessee territory for OED Marketing and the O’Dell Group.
Tony has developed the industry insight to know what it takes to get products designed, manufactured and distributed as well as finding the right match of product design and functionality to suit the customers’ needs and budget.
